The Student Health and Development Centre

The Student Health and Development Centre is a student resource area dedicated to health education and promotion. The centre provides information and support surrounding a wide variety of issues including sexual health, substance use, stress management, nutrition and healthy eating, safe travel and general wellness. Volunteer students work together as a peer health education team to promote awareness on a variety of health topics on campus. The Student Nutrition Action Committee is dedicated to improving nutrition choices and educational programming and professional consultations with a dietician for students at Laurier. The Leave The Pack Behind team provides resources for students wanting to learn more about tobacco use and strategies on how to cut down use or quit.

The centre is the home base for our registered dietitian. Referrals are booked through Health Services.
