I completed a BA in Religious Studies and Peace and Conflict Studies in 1997 and received a Master of Theological Studies in 2010, both from Conrad Grebel University College at the University of Waterloo.
Currently I co-teach a peace studies course at the University of Waterloo. Previously I taught peace studies courses at two seminaries (Catholic and Pentecostal) in Nigeria. For about half of my working life I worked in development, ecumenical and interfaith relationships, and peacebuilding in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda and Nigeria.
I am fascinated by the intersection of faith and life: how people of faith communicate in engaging ways with those of other faiths or those without faith. I enjoy interacting with students of all backgrounds and seek to find ways of integrating academic knowledge with life experience.
