Receipts are issued once payment has been received. If you are eligible to claim a tax credit for tuition fees, your receipt will be required as proof of enrolment. Please note that the T2202A form (Tuition and Education Amounts Certificate) is not issued for courses offered through Professional Development.

Unless otherwise noted, all professional development takes place at Wilfrid Laurier University’s Faculty of Social Work at 120 Duke Street West in Kitchener.
There are a number of convenient city parking garages that offer daily parking rates. See the City of Kitchener website for parking lot locations. Kitchener City Hall is the closest parking garage to our campus.
All cancellations must be received in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org. Workshops and courses cancelled by the Professional Development office are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations received prior to two weeks before the start date of the workshop are eligible for a full refund. You can also change your registration to another workshop or send a colleague in your place with no administration fee.
Cancellations received less than two weeks before the start date of the workshop are eligible for a credit, minus a $50 administration fee. You can also change your registration to another workshop or send a colleague in your place with no administration fee.
Cancellations received the day before a workshop are eligible for a 50% credit. You can also send a colleague in your place for no administration fee.
Cancellations the day of the workshop, or non-attendance, are not eligible for a refund or credit.
Cancellations up to two weeks prior to the start date are subject to a $50 administration fee. Cancellations within two weeks of the start date are not eligible for a refund or credit.
The Professional Development program will follow Laurier's decision regarding inclement weather. If the university is closed, all Professional Development workshops and courses are also cancelled. If courses are cancelled due to inclement weather, we will do our best to reschedule the date. If you cannot attend on that date, you will be eligible for a full refund.
