Every organization has a workplace culture and Laurier is no exception. A large part of our culture can be attributed to our strong sense of community and how the efforts of our individual employees lend to both creating and sustaining a great place to work.
Laurier’s Employee Success Factors outline a set of behaviours and shared values common to many of our employees and integrates them together to create a picture of our ideal culture. These individual factors are interwoven into the tapestry of our culture and provide a foundation upon which many successes are realized.
We also look for these shared values and characteristics when we recruit new employees and seek to promote and support these behaviours with existing employees through our internal learning opportunities.
Annually, we celebrate the important accomplishments of our staff and faculty through our Employee Achievement Awards. This award program provides an opportunity to showcase wonderful contributions to our community and celebrate individual efforts.
