I am native of Argentina and have been a clinical social worker and psychotherapist for more than 25 years in Argentina and Canada. Before coming to Canada, I taught social sciences at John F. Kennedy University and the University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires. I have a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and a master’s degree in Mental Health from the University of León in Spain. I am a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor at KW Counselling Services in Kitchener, Ont., Canada. I have worked with faith-based psychotherapy within several faith traditions. I am a registered social worker, by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers, and am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
I have been doing research in the areas of spirituality, psychoanalysis, gender and sexuality issues. I am a PhD candidate studying Transdisciplinary Theory and Complex Thought at Multiversidad Mundo Real Edgar Morin, in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.
At KW Counselling Services I have developed and facilitated a Spanish-speaking process group, unique in Waterloo Region, that is focused on trauma treatment and mental health issues.
I am a clinical supervisor at KW Counselling Services for master’s students from various universities, including Laurier and the University of Waterloo.
