Susan Cadell’s research focuses on making meaning, spirituality, palliative care, and on positive outcomes of stress. Her current research examines factors that allow parent caregivers to survive and even grow while facing the stress of caring for a child with a life-threatening illness. Cadell’s study will contribute to the field of pediatric palliative care by enabling policy makers and practitioners to better understand the needs of caregivers.
