People at Laurier
I am currently going into my second year at the Seminary, studying Christian studies and Global Citizenship. I didn’t really know what to expect when accepting my offer to the Seminary last September, because it was the first year that the program was being offered, but they still managed to exceeded anything I could of imagined.
The program really covers all the aspects of what is means to be a ‘Global Citizen’- we are able to learn about different religions, environmental and political issues, all through a global point of view. I believe that the new BA program at the Seminary really opens your perspective on things and allows for a better understanding of different cultures and beliefs.
The small class size, the community feeling, and the diversity of classes, while keeping a connection with the Laurier community are definitely my favorite things about being at the Seminary. I couldn’t imagine studying at any other university.
