Learn more about the history of CSASM from these pages. The seminar series hosted distinguished researchers, including a Steel Prize recipient, an ICIAM Collatz Prize recipient, a Nobel Laureate. Founded in 2004 the seminar series attracted many scientists and researchers from around the world. Laurier graduate and undergraduate students, as well as the Laurier faculty, continue benefiting from the Laurier CSASM seminar series as they are exposed to state-of-the-art research carried out by world-renown experts from academia and industry. The series attracts colleagues from the nearby University of Waterloo, University of Guelph, University of Western Ontario, the Perimeter Institute, the Institute for Quantum Computing, and other research institutions.  Most of the talks are held at the WLU, the oldest university in Waterloo that will shortly be celebrating its centenary.
