Permits
A permit is required to park anywhere on campus at all times Monday to Friday, with the exception of paid parking and some evening parking. (For more information on evening parking please visit the "Rules & Regulations" page.) To be valid, the parking permit must be attached to the back of the rearview mirror of the vehicle with the permit number clearly visible through the windshield.
All parking permits at Laurier are issued by Parking & Transportation Resources. A maximum of one (1) permit is issued per person. The permit may be shared amoung a maximum of four (4) vehicles registered to that permit; however, only one (1) registered vehicle is allowed on campus at a time and must have the parking permit displayed.
Permit/vehicle information must be updated when a new permit is issued or when there is a change in address or vehicle ownership; otherwise, you will be ticketed. Any lost/stolen permits will incur a $35 replacement fee and the old permit will be made inactive.
Permit
holders will be held responsible for traffic and parking violations involving
their vehicle, regardless of the actual driver of the vehicle. New permits
will not be issued to those with outstanding parking fines.
As a
permit holder, if you choose to park at a meter or in Pay & Display, you
are still required to insert coinage/purchase a ticket; otherwise,
you will be ticketed.
