Brian Smith: Prof. Brian Smith has been named the newest Associate Editor of The Financial Review!  In joining the editorial board of the Financial Review, Brian elevates the image of Laurier to the ranks of schools such as Georgetown, Notre Dame, Rice, Purdue, Cornell, and Georgia. Brian is also the only Canadian Associate Editor for the Financial Review, joining a team of leading researchers from around the globe.

Si Li: Si Li's paper, in the Review of Finance, wins the Deutsche Bank Prize in Financial Economics.  The winning papers are chosen by the Associate Editors, the Co-Editors, and the Advisory Board of the Review of Finance.  The winningi paper title is: The Limits of the Limits of Arbitrage - by Alon Brav, J.B. Heaton, and Si Li.

Andriy Shkilko: Andriy has been invited as an editor of the special issue of the International Journal of Managerial Finance, with a focus on the recent bans and other resitrctiosn placed on short selling during the financial crisis of 2007-2009.  The International Journal of Managerial Finance is a quarterly publication.  Its editorial board members include leading experts from around the world.
