August 30 - Fall term tuition fees due
September 3 - Labour Day (University-observed holiday)
September 3-7 - Orientation Week (O-week) for incoming Year 1 students
September 10 - Fall term and full-year lectures begin
September 10-16 - last day to drop/withdraw - no tuition penalty
September 17-23 - last day to drop/withdraw - 10% tuition penalty
September 23 - Last day to add courses for fall term
September 23-November 5 - last day to drop/withdraw - 55% tuition penalty
October 1 - last day to submit 'Application to Graduate form to Registrar's Office'
October 8 - Thanksgiving (University-observed holiday)
October 26 - Fall Convocation
November 5 - Last day to drop/withdraw at 55% tuition penalty and without failure
December 3 - Make-up Monday for Thanksgiving holiday
December 3 - Fall term lectures end
December 4-5 - Study days
December 6 - 19 - Final Exam Period (Students are advised not to make travel commitments during this time period)
December 19 - Fall term ends
December 22-January 1 - University Closed

Winter 2013

June 21 - Year 4 & 5 Faculty of Arts students will have access to LORIS for fall and winter course selection (beginning at 6:00 pm)
June 24 - Year 3 Faculty of Arts students will have access to LORIS for fall and winter course selection (beginning at 6:00 pm)
June 26 - Year 2 Faculty of Arts students will have access to LORIS for fall and winter course selection (beginning at 6:00 pm)
June 29 - Access to LORIS for all students will become available for course selection (course program restrictions removed)
December 17 - Tuition fees due
January 7-13 - Last days to drop/withdraw with no tuition penalty
January 7 - Winter term starts
January 14-20 - Last days to drop/withdraw with 10% tuition penalty
January 20 - Last day to add winter term courses
January 21-March 8 - If you drop/withdraw during this time period, you will be responsible for 55% tuition penalty
February 18 - Family day, University-observed holiday
February 18-22 - Reading Week (no lectures)
March 1-April 28 - Academic Program Councelling period, & time to Declare honours specialization or program change needed to access LORIS durin the summer months to register for courses in upcoming academic year.
March 8 - Last day to drop/withdraw without failure and possible tuition adjustment
March 9 - From this day on, if you drop/withdraw from Winter term, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and no tution adjustment.
March 29 - Good Friday, University-observed holiday
April 8 - Make-up day for Good Friday
April 8 - Winter lectures end
April 9-10 - Study days
April 11-30 - Final Exam Period. (Students are advised not to make travel committments during this time period).
April 15 - Last day to submit Application to Graduate for Spring Convocation
April 30 - Winter term ends.
