Students are strongly urged to consider participating in one of Laurier’s many exchange programs. Spending a semester or a year abroad enables students to make dramatic progress in their language acquisition, while offering them invaluable first-hand contact with another culture. Laurier International offers exchange programs in Chile, France, Germany, Italy, Quebec, Mexico and Spain. Students who have participated in these programs have benefited immeasurably from their experiences.

Students combining business degrees with Spanish have the opportunity to take internationally-recognized exams administered through the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid, of which Laurier is the sole Canadian representative. Laurier students have had an enormous success rate in these exams.
