Hi and welcome to Laurier! My name is Emily and I am in fourth year Communication Studies with the Co-op Option.
Laurier seemed like the perfect fit for me and I am proud to say four years later that coming to Laurier was completely the right choice. Being involved on Camus has had a profound difference on my Laurier Experience. I was Vice President of Activities on my first year house council and for the past two years have been involved in Orientation Week as an Ice Breaker! For my final year I am a Residence Life Don. I was involved in the Students Union as an Executive Winter Carnival member and also participated in Habitat for Humanity for the past 2 years. I absolutely love being a Communication Studies major and have found that my professors and the teaching staff at Laurier are helpful and personable.
The friends that I have made have significantly contributed to my experience at Laurier as well. I hope that you choose what educational path is right for you, and if it involves going to Laurier, that is even better! I hope to see you around campus next year and wish you luck with whatever you choose!
