Hey there! My name is Kristen, and
I'm going into my third year here at Laurier! I am in a double degree Sociology
and Global Studies major! One of the many reasons that I chose
Laurier was the feeling of community and home when I walked on campus. There is
such a welcoming atmosphere, that you feel welcomed right away! Another reason,
would be the incredible amount of things to get involved in across campus! I
got involved with my residence student council first year as a community
representative! In my second year, I had an amazing
opportunity to be an orientation week icebreaker! As well as numerous clubs
across campus! I cannot wait to be an ambassador
for the 2013-2014 school year! I hope I get to share my experiences and passion
for Laurier with you! I hope you come check out the campus and see for yourself
that it really is great to be a Laurier Golden Hawk!"
