Hello potential future Golden Hawks! My name is Kendra and I’m a 2nd year Music Performance Major. I’m so excited you’ve decided to check out what Laurier has to offer as a university, a community, and most importantly, a home for some of the greatest years of your life. My fellow Ambassadors and I are here to make sure you’re not disappointed!
Choosing the right university can feel overwhelming. I remember having no idea where I wanted to go. But when I came to visit, Laurier felt like it was made for me. The small campus with big school spirit, charismatic faculty members, opportunities to get involved and a welcoming community were what made me love WLU, and after an incredible first year I have no regrets.
The best advice I can give you is get involved, no matter what school you choose. I had a blast at O Week in September, joined campus clubs, and was a First Year Leadership Program (FYLP) member on Arts Laurier and SpruceKing Residence House Council. I’ve met incredible students from all faculties and made lasting memories with my new and amazing friends.
