5th Year English & Psychology

Chesley, ON

The first time I came to Laurier to take a tour of the school I knew this was the place for me. I was coming from a high school with a total population of 300 people. I thought I would be overwhelmed in university by the size but Laurier has always felt like home to me and the school is one big community.

I have been able to get involved at Laurier in so many ways including many intramural teams, Residence Athletic Council, Varsity Cross Country team, and being a Don in the first year residences for my fellow Golden Hawks. These opportunities and many more have made my experience at Laurier. In addition to the great extra-curriculars, Laurier's smaller size means that my professors actually know who I am.

The support and comfort that surrounds the Laurier community has made these last four years fly by, and I cannot imagine spending that time anywhere else.
