Welcome to Wilfrid Laurier University! My name is Amaryllis Jones and I’m from Mississauga, Ontario. I am a third year student in the Business Administration program and a proud Golden Hawk.

My first year at Laurier was filled with many challenging and exciting experiences, offering me endless opportunities to meet new people, excel academically and join the Laurier community. In my first year I was the Corporate Events Coordinator of Women in Leadership, as well as the Decorations Manager for the Snow Ball held by SBESS (that is the “School of Business and Economics Student Society).

First year went by in a flash, leaving me with some unforgettable moments and unique friendships. I love that at Laurier everything and everyone is accessible. Besides all of the amazing people, from students to faculty member, I must say that choosing Laurier was one of the best decisions I have ever made. In second year I was a Student Ambassador and the Marketing Manager of Sales and Promotions for the SBESS. This year I am the Senior Ambassador of Residence, working to build strong relationships with the first year students to showcase residence and their experiences within campus housing.
