First off I’d like to say I’m so excited that you are considering coming to Laurier! For me personally, it took me a very long time to decide what university I wanted to attend, but I couldn’t be happier that I decided to become a Golden Hawk!

My favorite thing about Laurier has to be the fact that the students here, love being here! At Laurier, school spirit doesn’t just get turned on at football games; it’s a part of everyday life here. No matter where you go on campus there is always someone you know to stop and chat to and share a laugh with!

I’m now in my fourth year of the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program (interested in finance and marketing) and am also completing a Political Science Minor. Since my first year at Laurier I’ve tried getting involved in lots of different extra-curriculars to see what I enjoyed the most. I’ve been a part of residence House Council, written for The Cord Newspaper and the SBE Atrium Magazine, been an Orientation Week Icebreaker (my FAVOURITE Laurier experience), ran on the Varsity Cross-Country team, played numerous intramurals and even tried PowderPuff winter flag football last year!

All-in-all, Laurier offers great academics, an involved student body and so many opportunities for you to find your niche here and make friends to last a lifetime. I’ve loved every year at Laurier and now that it is my last year I want to make sure that you get to see all the great things this school has to offer! Looking forward to meeting you on the tour!
