Hi! Iím Che Fehrenbach and here at Laurier I study both Cultural Studies and Political Science as majors and am taking a minor in Spanish. My hometown is Mississauga, Ontario which is about an hour away from Waterloo.

Laurier is a school full of spirit, an inclusive community, engaging and fulfilling academics along with wonderful people to meet and share experiences with. I chose Laurier because of its unique program offerings and because the relatively small campus size ensures you see familiar faces everyday, multiple times a day. Since I began my time at Laurier Iíve made lasting friendships, learned invaluable lessons from professors, in classes, as well as by living on my own and being exposed to all the lessons that brings. Getting involved in your school community isnít mandatory, but Iíve found it to be one of the most rewarding things Iíve done. I hope if you find yourself enrolled at Laurier that youíll take advantage of the unique and welcoming community we have here which I like to call the Laurier family.

No matter where you choose to accept, remember to keep a balance between work and play, be optimistic, and never be afraid to ask questions!!! Wishing you the best of luck and hoping to see you on a tour this year!
