Hi Everyone! My name is Evan and I am in my fourth year at WLU, studying Honours Psychology. I knew I wanted to be a Laurier Golden Hawk from the first time I visited for my campus tour, and I am excited to share all of the wonderful experiences I have had since then! Laurier is more than a University, it is a community, and offers so many opportunities to get involved and meet new people. During my first year in residence, I knew that Laurier would be not just my school, but also my home for the next four years, and I am happy to say that I now have a second family here in Waterloo.
During my time here, I have been part of co-op, which allowed me to gain real experience in my field of interest, volunteered on and off campus for organizations that interest me. I have also progressed into the Research Specialist branch of my program, which allowed me to participate in hands on learning and research. I also had my first experience working on campus last year, and am so excited to move into a position as Student Ambassador this year, as I will get to meet all of you and show you why I love Laurier!
