An Easier Way

It's easy to place pictures within the Body of your pages.

Not everyone feels comfortable editing the HTML tags within the web pages which control how things are displayed on these pages. While learning HTML can be challenging, it can be fun and allow you to have even better control over the pages you create.

However, below I explain how to add pictures to the Body of your pages without the need for HTML.

You will need to start with a photo or other image that has been sized to the proper dimensions for how you want it to appear on the screen.
  • Next, upload the image into your Documents section. This will place the photo in the database and give it a web address so you can place the image anywhere else on your site.
  • View the document that you created to hold the picture, and click on the image so that it gets displayed in your web browser.
  • Right-click on the image and choose "Copy".
  • Go into the Admin system and open the page you created that you want to place the picture in (or create one now).
  • Right-click in the Body paragraph and choose "Paste".
  • Type in any text you want, and don't forget to save the section when done. You can place the image inside a table or centre the image using the formatting tools for the paragraph.
As an example, here is a picture of my Dad's dog, Sheba done using this technique.
