MKin Policies and Procedures
The KPE department has set a number of policies and procedures for the MKin program.
The Policies and Procedure document outlines all relevant policies regarding the MKin program, such as application procedures, teaching assistantships and course requirements. Information regarding directed studies can be found here.
Each student in the MKin program will complete a thesis during the two year tenure at the University. It is mandatory that each student propose their thesis during the first year of the program by submitting a written document and orally presenting their proposed research. At the conclusion of the program, each student will also submit a final thesis and orally defend the thesis to their Committee. The guidelines and procedures for the proposal, defense and written thesis are found in the documents below.
All students and faculty should be familiar with these documents.
