Graduate Course Schedule for 2012/2013



Included here is the schedule for required and elective courses for KPE MSc students for 2012/2013.  Other information regarding program and university policies can been found in the Graduate Academic Calendar.


All students in the first year of the program are required to take the following courses:

KP601: Seminar in Physical Activity & Health

Fall & Winter: Tuesdays 2:30pm - 3:50pm in Room BA209 (Dr. Fletcher)                                

KP620: Statistical Reasoning & Advanced Experimental Analysis

Fall: Mondays & Wednesdays, 10:00am - 11:20am in Room AC158 (Dr. Bryden)

                          Lab: Fridays, 10:00am - 11:20am in AC158 (Dr. Bryden)

 

All students in the second year of the program are required to take the following courses:

KP611: Seminar in Physical Activity & Health

Fall & Winter: Tuesdays 2:30pm - 3:50pm in Room BA209 (Dr. Fletcher)

                            

All students, beginning in the Spring term of their first year should register for and continue to register until graduation:

KP699: MSc Thesis (not a scheduled course)

 

All students must take at least two of the following course during the program: 
 

KP604: Directed Studies (scheduled by individual instructor)

KP605: Directed Studies (scheduled by individual instructor)

KP621: Qualitative Research Design (not being offered at this time)

KP630: Epidemiology of Physical Activity & Health

Winter: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 11:30am - 12:20pm in Room  BA211 (Dr. Guthrie)

KP650: Biophysical Aspects of Physical Activity & Health

Winter: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 11:30am - 12:50pm in Room N1057 (Dr. Cinelli)                                                                                                           

KP651: Neurocognition of Movement (not being offered at this time)

KP670: Sociocultural Foundations of Physical Activity & Health  

           Winter: Wednesdays, 1:30pm-4:20pm in Room DAWB 1-101A (Dr. Dawson)
