M.Sc. Program Requirements

This is a thesis-based program of study with an anticipated time to completion of 2 years. Students continuing past the 2-year mark are not guaranteed funding.

* a maximum of 0.5 credit may be obtained in courses given by other departments

Courses are based primarily on student seminars, supplemented with occasional lectures by faculty and guest speakers. To guarantee that each course will have an integrative approach, courses are taught by two faculty members. Students are required to complete a major paper not directly related to their thesis topic in each course.
