Cross-registration or LOP Courses
Students may take up to 2.0 credits at the University of Waterloo. We
recommend that students choose UW courses in subject areas that are not
normally offered at Laurier. Students should seek academic counselling
before starting the cross-registration process. University Regulations
governing cross-registration are described in the Regulations Section of the Undergraduate Calendar.
Additional details are outlined by the Office of the Registrar.
Students wishing to take a course at another University must follow the regulations and procedures for registering via a Letter of Permission, as detailed by the Office of the Registrar. In general, we recommend that students choose courses in subject areas not normally offered at Laurier. We recommend that you seek academic counselling before attempting to register for a course at another university.
