Admissions Information
We offer a variety of Honours Biology programs leading to a BA or a BSc degree. More detailed descriptions of our programs can be found on the Program Objectives and Descriptions page. Admission to the Honours BSc Biology program, or to a double major BSc program in Biology and Chemistry, or Biology and Physical Geography, or Biology and Psychology requires the following high school courses:
- English at 60% (one of ENG4U, ETS4U, or EWC4U)
- Biology at 70% (SBI4U)
- Mathematics at 60% (MHF4U Advanced Functions)
- Chemistry at 60% (SCH4U)
- 2 other Grade 12 U and/or Grade 12 U/C courses
- a combined minimum average of 70% in the math and science courses
Admission to the Honours BSc in Biology and Mathematics require the following high school courses:
- English at 60% (one of ENG4U, ETS4U, or EWC4U)
- Advanced Functions (MHF4U) and Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U), each at 60%
- Biology at 70% (SBI4U)
- Chemistry at 60% (SCH4U)
- 2 other Grade 12 U and/or Grade 12 U/C courses
- a combined minimum average of 70% in the math and science courses
Admission to the Honours BA in Biology requires the following high school courses:
- English at 60% (one of ENG4U, ETS4U, or EWC4U)
- Biology at 70% (SBI4U)
- 4 other Grade 12 U and/or Grade 12 U/C courses
