In the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies (GES) Graduate Program at Laurier students explore a range of research interests from the analysis of pressing social and environmental issues to theoretical questions of philosophical and technical import. They do this within a wide variety of geography sub-disciplines and often as part of on-going multi-disciplinary projects.
Our graduate program is a partnership between GES and the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo. The joint program makes us the second largest graduate geography program in North America.
