Social Work (MSW)

The Two-Year program is designed for students who possess a 4 year Bachelorís degree. For students with a Bachelor of Social Work degree you are may eligible for Laurier's MSW advanced standing program.
There are three fields:
1. Practice with Individuals, Families and Groups (IFG)
2. Community, Policy, Planning and Organizations (CPPO)
Students can also choose to do an Integrated stream which is a combination of both.
Students will normally complete the program in five terms. The Practicum is completed during the second, third and fourth terms.
Part-time- only offered every second year
Students will normally complete the program in ten terms. The Practicum is completed during terms 3-7. Courses are normally offered in the evenings.

|| Minimum Standing
|A four year bachelorís degree, or equivalent from a university or college of recognized standing. Academic background must include at least four full (or eight half) social science courses and a half-credit course in research methodology.
