Music Therapy (MMT)
The philosophy of the Master of Music Therapy (MMT) program is music-centred psychotherapy. Clinical musicianship and psychotherapeutic techniques are developed through clinical, theoretical and experiential practices. Comparative topics support studentsí abilities to make connections between musical analysis and psychotherapeutic methods. The MMT program houses the Manfred and Penny Conrad Institute for Music Therapy Research and has the only Clinical Improvisation Lab in Canada.
