Graduate Academic Calendar
The official academic Calendar for the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies is online. By May 1 each year the new Graduate Academic Calendar for the year is published.
Consult the Calendar for current information on all programs, policies and procedures related to graduate studies. A list of important dates (i.e. term start and end dates, last date for late registration, convocation) can be found on the right side of the main calendar page under the link to "All Academic Dates."
Students are responsible for being aware of deadlines and for acting on them in a timely fashion. Some activities (including but not limited to registration each term, course enrollment changes or withdrawal from courses or from the program) have financial consequences if the relevant deadlines are not met. Mark such dates in your personal calendar!
All graduate students are expected to read and understand the various
academic and university policies as they pertain to graduate students at
Laurier. Information on these policies can be found in the following
locations:
- in the Graduate Academic Calendar;
- on the website for the University Secretariat;
particular attention should be paid to Section 12.2: Student Code of
Conduct and Discipline (dealing with both academic and non-academic
misconduct) and Section 2.3: Academic Accommodation of Graduate Students
with Disabilities;
- the Learning Services Office at Laurier provides online resources and links on the issue of academic integrity; go to www.wlu.ca/academicintegrity;
- review policies and procedures of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
