Educational Development
The Educational Development Office fosters and advances a culture that values excellence in teaching and learning. The Educational Development Office partners with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies and Career Services to offer a variety of development opportunities, educational resources, and support services to current and future graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants (TAs) and instructional assistants (IAs) at Laurier. The Office of Educational Development works collaboratively with faculty, graduate students and administrators to nurture the enhancement of teaching and learning by:
* profiling and supporting teaching innovations and best practices at all levels;
* encouraging excellence through reflective teaching practice and continuous skill development;
* advancing and facilitating the integration of educational technologies;and
* promoting and supporting scholarly teaching practice and research.
