Admission to the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies


Terms and Conditions Concerning your Offer of Admission

Effective March 15, 2013, Offers of admission to the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies are being sent electronically via email.  Prior to this date, paper offers were issued. Paper copies of offers of admission are valid only if signed by the Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies or her designate.

Offers of Admission are valid for 21 days from the date of the offer (and is noted on the offer). If you feel you require additional time to make a decision concerning the offer, you must make a request to the Graduate Coordinator of your program.

You must accept (or decline) the offer online using the link and login information provided in the email you received. For paper offers you must respond by returning the original and one copy of the offer to the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. The third copy is for your records.

Offers of admission are valid only for the term of entry indicated. Your offer of admission contains the following information:

  • Your name, contact information, and Laurier Student Identification number;
  • The term of admission;
  • The program to which you are admitted;
  • Your registration status;
  • Conditions (if any) to be met, either prior to registration (conditional offer) or by the deadline noted, either before or after initial registration (final probationary offer). A final offer of admission requires no conditions to be met.
