Managing Partner, Southwestern Ontario, Ernst & Young LLP

Greg McCauley is the managing partner for London and Waterloo Region, the two locations which comprise the Southwestern Ontario office of Ernst & Young. In addition to overseeing the client and market activities of the region, Greg also has direct client servicing roles as an assurance partner. His clients are primarily entrepreneurial businesses in the technology and advanced manufacturing sectors. Greg has a track record of supporting entrepreneurs in guiding their companies from start-up to rapid growth stage and ultimately to larger international businesses. Through all of the stages of growth, Greg has been involved with the owner/managers in providing a variety of business advisory and assurance services.

Greg also serves numerous Canadian subsidiaries of Japanese based global companies and is
Ernst & Young’s National leader for Japanese business services. With more than ten years of experience in this national role, Greg has developed a strong network within the Japanese business community.

Greg has also made a significant commitment to supporting various community based charitable organizations throughout Southwestern Ontario. This involvement has comprised membership on the Board of Directors for Epilepsy London & Area, Bereaved Families of Ontario-London chapter, Waterloo Regional Arts Council, Waterloo Community Arts Centre and K-W Skating Club. Greg has also been involved with various committees of charitable organizations including Junior Achievement, K-W Community Foundation and K-W Arts Awards.

After graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1983, Greg earned his CA designation in 1985.
