Lynda Kitamura, BBA '86, Chief Financial Officer, Electronic Products Recycling Association



Lynda Kitamura is Chief Financial Officer for Electronic Products Recycling Association.  EPRA is a national not-for-profit, industry-funded organization. It has been established by electronics manufacturers and retailers chartered with national responsibility for improving the efficiency of the e-waste reclamation and recycling process.

Prior to EPRA, Lynda was Vice President, Finance at Hewlett-Packard for the Worldwide Technology Services business, managing business throughout Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East and North, Central and South America.   This worldwide role was preceded by roles as Vice President Finance, Americas and seven years as Chief Financial Officer of HP Canada. Ms. Kitamura joined HP Canada in 1986. Throughout her career with the company she has held a variety of positions in finance, operations, sales support, field administration and supply chain management

Ms. Kitamura has a degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, an MBA from McMaster University and is also a Certified Management Accountant. She is a member of the Financial Executives Institute and the National Council of the Financial Executives of the Conference Board of Canada. Ms. Kitamura is also a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for WLU School of Business and Economics. She has been recognized in the Top 100 Women in Canada by Women's Executive Network (WXN) 2009 and 2003.
