Trevor Gardner is a Managing Director in RBC Capitals Markets Energy Investment Banking Group based in Calgary, Alberta. Trevor is responsible for managing senior client relationships coverage and providing transaction execution expertise for a number of clients in energy sector.  Recent transaction experience includes advising Petro-Canada on their combination with Suncor, lead managing four equity financings for TransCanada, and numerous other  financing and advisory work within the Canadian energy sector.

Prior to moving to Calgary, Trevor was a Director in the Equity Capital Markets Group based in Toronto where he worked extensively with the investment banking clients in the natural resource sectors, focusing on the execution of equity financings including IPOs, follow-on offerings, convertible debentures and preferred shares.

During his time with the RBC Trevor has been extensively involved in recruiting, training and management of new employees. Trevor was responsible for the hiring, staffing and overall management of analysts and associates in RBC's Toronto corporate finance office for a three year period.

Trevor received a Bachelor of Business Administration (with distinction) from Wilfrid Laurier University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Trevor has maintained an active role in community and education initiatives and is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.
