Peter Ansley
President, Canadian Tire Associate Store
Peter Ansley graduated from WLU, with a BA in
Economics. He was with Ford of Canada
from 1966 to 1975, in the management of HR, and as a Director in public affairs
and government affairs. Currently he is
a Canadian Tire Associate Dealer; his Sarnia store is the second largest in
Canada.
Since 1991, Peter has served as President and Chairman
of Signature Properties International. He is on the board of DevCom, is Chairman and CEO of Datin Inc., Peter
Charles Ansley Holdings Ltd. and PCA Holdings Ltd. He is a past member of the London Health
Sciences Centre Foundation Board, Canadian Tire Dealer Associate Board, Board
of Sheridan College, Oakville, and the Canadian Funds and Councils of Canada Board.
He is married to Cheri, a volunteer member of the
Athletics Annual Outstanding Women of Laurier event. His daughter is an attorney in Phoenix,
Arizona and his son is a student at Laurier.
