Jillian Sharpe
I am a fourth-year combination English Literature and Gender Studies major specializing in Canadian writing and postcolonial theory. I am particularly interested in examining how national treatments of multiculturalism and gender equality have been reflected on and challenged in Canadian writing. I am hoping to pursue an MA in Literature after graduation and ultimately work in publishing or academia.
As well as tutoring, I am passionate about queer theory and the politics of identity. I also spend a lot of time reading about Modernist poetry and linguistics.
I’m looking forward to working with everyone this year in the Writing Centre.
