I'm a third-year history major, and I'm looking to finish off a minor in Latin as well. As far as specialization goes, I focus primarily on Russian and Soviet history, as well as 19th and 20th century history in general. Even though those are my main areas of focus, I like basically any area of history, and have studied a wide variety of different areas. I'm also keenly interested in language. Aside from having a Latin minor, I also know bits and pieces of several other languages, and have a background in theoretical linguistics. In the future, I hope to go on and finish my Ph.D in history and become a professor. Whenever I'm not obsessing over language and history or working at the writing centre (which is basically never), I like to grab coffee with friends, read, and even play the occasional video game.
