The Faculty of Social Work sees representation on the appropriate FSW committees as one way to foster involvement of part time faculty in the life of the faculty as a whole. Your perspectives on the issues that arise are important to us, and participation can give you a window into the various views and concerns that circulate within the faculty as a whole.


Representation of Part-time Faculty on the Faculty of Social Work Divisional Council And Selected Committees

The current collective agreement (Article 11.2.2) provides for part-time faculty representation on the Faculty of Social Work Divisional Council. Divisional Council is responsible for final approval of all policies in the Faculty of Social Work. Academic policies approved by Divisional Council are then forwarded to Graduate Faculty Council, and then to Senate. There are provisions in the Divisional Council Terms of References for two CAS Members in the Faculty of Social Work.

Contract Academic Staff are also included in the Terms of Reference for the following committees:
