MSW Programs and Admission Information
The Lyle S. Hallman Faculty of Social Work has developed a national and international reputation for excellence in teaching, research, and practicum instruction.
*NEW MSW CURRICULUM* Beginning Fall 2016:
The new curriculum is designed to provide a wholly integrated foundational year that grounds all MSW two-year full-time and MSW four-year part-time students in four essential and interconnected social work practice areas: individual, family and groups; community; policy and organizations; and research. While we not longer use the nomenclature of fields of study in any of our program options, students can continue to focus their courses and practicum on micro/macro practices.
While the MSW Advanced Standing full / part-time students will not be participating in the revised foundational year, their program of study will also offer more course options than in the past.
We believe that the new curriculum will equip you with a robust and integrated grounding in theory and practice so that you are ideally prepared for the challenges of contemporary social work practice.
