Title:   Polymer encapsulated nanoparticles: Synthesis, applications and commercialization 

 

In this presentation I will discuss our research on the science that led to the development of a platform approach to the synthesis of nanoparticles, which led to the formation of a start-up company Vive Nano (now Vive Crop Protection). The talk will cover from the basics of polymer phase transitions, to applications of nanoparticles and to how commercialization of university ideas ca be effected.
