Wind Band Symposium - 2007-2011

Wind Band Symposium for Waterloo Region High School Students. Ensemble rehearsals led by various guest conductors, and masterclasses for high school students are led by Laurier Faculty of Music senior students. A public performance concludes the two-day symposium.

Specialist High Skills Major: Art & Culture - 2007-2009

High Skills in Arts Initiative, Eastwood C.I., Kitchener.
Eastwood Collegiate, through the Integrated Arts Program, is a pilot site for the SHSM Arts & Culture and is expanding the program offerings into the areas of technical theatre, arts and culture management, journalism, filmmaking and broadcasting. LcMc partners with the Eastwood Collegiate initiative in providing opportunities for Eastwood students to participate in ensembles and education related courses.

National Kodaly Society - January 25-26, 2008

String Symposium for Waterloo Region High School Students, February 2007-present Ensemble rehearsals are led by guest conductors, including, Maestro Edwin Outwater of the KW Symphony Orchestra, and Gilles Apap, master violinist and improviser with a special performance by Penderecki String Quartet. Master classes and sectional rehearsals for high school students are led by Laurier Faculty of Music senior students. 

South Simcoe Arts Council, ChoralFest - May 10, 2008

115 singers from community choirs meet for a full day workshop and performance with Dr. Lee Willingham and accompanist, Darryl Cremasco.
