Tshepo Annual General Meeting - Friday, October 5th, 2012
On October 5th 2012, the Tshepo Institute for the Study of Contemporary Africa hosted its annual general meeting (AGM) in the Carnegie building of the Laurier Brantford campus. The keynote address was provided by Professor Nana Araba Apt, an international member of the advisory board of the Institute at Laurier Brantford. Her talk covered children in difficult circumstances in Ghana, with a focus on child trafficking in West Africa. The meeting also included the welcoming in of new director Dr. Robert Ame, and new associate director Dr. Magnus Mfoafo MíCarthy.
