Laurier Work Study Program (LWSP)

Formerly Ontario Work Study Plan(OWSP)

Students who are experiencing financial difficulties and who wish to work on a part time basis may be eligible for assistance under the Laurier Work Study Program. Students must be registered full time at Wilfrid Laurier University, and must show financial need to be accepted in to this program.

To be assessed for approval to this program you must begin by submitting the online student application.

***APPLICATIONS FOR LWSP ARE NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN LWSP.***

Waterloo Campus Applications are now closed.

Brantford Campus Applications are now closed.

Please be advised that this application will be available for a limited time-and will be removed once we have reached our maximum number of applicants.

Due to the popularity of this program with WLU students, it fills up quickly, so if you are interested you should apply as soon as possible! NOTE: Once you submit this application you will be prompted to also submit a student budget form. Please be advised that this link is ONLY available to you at the time of application submission-therefore, if you intend to submit an application, make sure that you have enough time to complete it.

PLEASE NOTE: Students must apply for the Work Study Program through online student application form on the Student Awards Office website. After an interview process, students will be admitted to the program. Once a student is admitted to the LWSP, they can then start to contact the employers who have LWSP positions posted on the Career Centre website.
