Entrance Scholarship Grid
|
Awards from the Entrance Scholarship Grid are available to students who are entering Year 1 of any undergraduate program who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents or bearers of a valid student visa. To be eligible, visa applicants must have completed their senior year at a Canadian high school. Recipients must be registered full-time. No application is required. These awards are offered based on the best six final grade 12 U/M marks. Students who receive an Offer of Admission and who are on the scholarship grid based on their average at the time of admission will be notified of their projected entrance scholarship on the Offer of Admission. Entrance scholarships will be finalized in July once final grades have been received. A student may not hold more than one entrance scholarship from the entrance scholarship grid (below). Laurier anticipates some program specific awards will be offered and added to the value of the entrance scholarships on the grid. For students entering double degree programs, such as the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration/Honours Bachelor of Science in Computing and Computer Electronics, the applicant will be assessed for an entrance scholarship using the program classification having the higher dollar value (in this example, the applicant will be assessed using the program classification "Science").
