I. General

The University has some accommodation for overnight visitors, for which charges are levied.

- The accommodation at The Lucinda House is for those participating in University activities.
- Temporary accommodations are available during the summer months for those with an affiliation to Laurier.

II. Accommodation

The following accommodation is available for visitors:

A. The Lucinda House

The Lucinda House, located at 157 Albert Street, is a facility for guests and social occasions at the University. It is an historically designated house in Waterloo County and must be properly preserved. Policy regarding use of the rooms and charges are set by the President.

The House has two bedrooms for overnight guests-the Virginia Room has twin beds; the Elizabeth Room has a double bed. The guest rooms share a bathroom in the same hallway. Any department or unit of the University may book a guest bedroom by making arrangements with the Office of the President at least a week in advance. Every guest staying in the Lucinda House must have an official University host.

B. Laurier Summer Accommodations

Laurier summer accommodations operate in the student residences during the spring term, usually from the first week in May to the third week in August. Policy regarding use and charges are set by the Assistant Vice-President: Student Services/Dean of Students.

Guests who stay at Laurier Summer Accommodations can select from three different styles of residence.  Guests may choose from air-conditioned dormitory style rooms and apartments or non air-conditioned apartments and townhouses.  Reservations may be made by contacting the Conference Office.  This accommodation is open to those guests with an affiliation to Laurier.
