When are my deductions
Payroll Deductions
Bi-Weekly eligible employees can expect to have some or all of the following deductions taken from their pay:
- Statutory Deductions - Income Tax, EI, CPP (all pay periods)
- Pension (first and second pay periods)
- Group Life Insurance (first pay period of the month)
- Long Term Disability (first and second pay periods)
- Union/Association Fees (union specific)
- Parking Fees (first and second pay period of the month)
- Canada Savings Plan (all pay periods)
- Charitable donations (all pay periods)
- UHIP (all pay periods)
The following benefits may be paid by the University and will appear on the first pay of the month:
- Employee Paid Health premiums (Extended Health) (first pay period of the month)
- Dental premiums (first pay period of the month)
- Life Insurance premium (first pay period of the month)
Monthly Eligible employees can expect to have some or all of the above deductions taken every pay.
