I haven't received a cheque I was expecting. What should I do?
If you have not received an expected cheque, contact the Payroll Department at 519-884-0710 (refer to the Payroll Contact List for your Contact) or email@example.com as soon as possible. After establishing the payment was sent out, Payroll will endeavour to locate or replace the payment as soon as possible.
There will be a time delay (for the stop payment to be processed through the banking system) after the notification is received. Please note that once a stop payment request has been entered to the bank, even if the cheque in question arrives immediately after, it can no longer be cashed.
When the stop payment is complete, a replacement cheque will be issued. When picking up a cheque from the Payroll Department, proper photo ID such as a driver's license is required.
