Organize communities for health and social issues, including community and political advocacy, media advocacy.
Compiled and wrote a community resource guide for immigrant communities in the area.
Initiated and lead person for “Civic participation of ethno-racial communities in the Canadian system- school, community agencies and local politics;
Involved in the establishment of a local grass-roots organization to encourage low-income and immigrants communities to participate in the political life of the Canadian society;
Involved in local and provincial committees working towards community research and the development of programs for ethno-racial communities. e.g. Waterloo Region Immigrant Employment Network, Community- University Research Alliance, and Ontario Parent Inclusion Project.
