I have posted the first required assignment on this course website today. It is due back in class on February 16. Please read the questions and instructions/hints carefully. If you have any clarification question about the assignment even after reading the questions and instructions/hints carefully, please feel free to stop by during my office hours.

Midterm exam will be held tomorrow (March 2) in class. As I mentioned in last class, midterm exam will cover Ch 1 to Ch 6, inclusive, of the textbook ( 4th edition). Exam will be 1 hour and 15 minutes long. You have to answer THREE out of THREE multi-part problem solving questions. Total marks of the exam is 40.
To prepare for the exam, I strongly recommend you to work out Assignment 1 and 2 which are posted on the website. You should go through the posted solutions to the assignments. You should study the textbook and go through the lecture slides and your class lecture notes carefully.

Final exam will be held in SBE1220 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm on April 18.
Exam will cover Chapter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12 of the textbook ( 4th edition). All of these chapters will be more or less equally covered in the exam. Please note that the following materials will NOT be covered in the exam: Section 7.6 of Chapter 7, Section 10.5 of Chapter 10, Sections 12.1 and 12.4 of Chapter 12.
Exam will be 3 hours long. You have to answer SIX out of SIX multi-part problem solving questions. Total marks of the exam is 100.
To prepare for the exam, I strongly recommend you to work out all of the required and optional assignments which are posted on the website. You should go through the solutions to the assignments and midterm exam. You should study the textbook and go through the lecture slides and your class lecture notes carefully. In particular, you should make sure that you understand all of the models with a graphical explanation.

April 15 (Friday) 3:30 to 5:30 pm
